Magnesium Essential for Life!

Magnesium is an essential mineral (essential for life) that every cell in the body needs. It keeps the nervous system healthy, muscles strong, and forms healthy bones and teeth. 76 Ways Sugar can ruin your Health!

Sugar has become a common food item in the diet over the last century. It is estimated that the average person consumes 140 to 170 lbs of sugar a year. I know that sounds outlandish but according to estimates done by the Department of Agriculture, it’s true.

Sugar in some form is in almost everything. If you doubt it, check your food labels. Look for corn, maple, rice, or cane syrup, honey, fruit juice concentrates and ingredients like dextrose, fructose, lactose, sucrose, sucralose, maltose or glucose etc.

Our diets have shifted dramatically over the last one hundred years or so. We didn’t always eat the amount of refined sugar, processed grains and simple carbohydrates, (which turn to sugar) that we do today. We also did not have some of the foods that we do today. Just consider how many people drink at least one or more sodas a day. Just one can of soda contains 10 to 12 teaspoons of sugar. That’s a lot of sugar and sugar is an immune suppressor.
